Ms. Cynthia's Playground
The new playground at Cross Roads is dedicated in memory of Cynthia Simmons. Cynthia is the late wife of our pastor, Josh Simmons. She served our church for 13+ years as a dedicated Children's Ministry teacher and volunteer. She loved kids and seeing them have fun while learning about the love of God.
Cynthia lost her battle with liver disease after complications from her second liver transplant on June 3, 2021. She was 38 years old.
Our prayer is that the playground would serve as a reminder that God loves children and wants them to come to him. May all who play here experience the love of God and come to know him personally.
“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets with their canes and will sit together in the city squares.
